Workshops
I offer a range of bespoke workshops for individuals and groups from my base at Loch Tay in Highland Perthshire. Workshops take place in either in my studio or the neighboring Big Shed. https://www.bigshed.org.uk/ depending on the nature of the workshop and the size of the group. Workshop fees are £80pp per day with a minimum of two and maximum of 6.
Suggestions could be: Lantern, panel or mobile making with willow and paper; mini basket and sculpture making with willow and/or collected plants material & notebook making with a range of simple bookbinding techniques.
‘Collecting Landscapes’ In these workshops I use a range of art based techniques, eg print making and drawing (often in combination with techniques mentioned above ) in a more mindful approach to creative workshop presentation. This is a really relaxing way to learn and take a memory of place with you. If you want to know more please feel free to get in touch.
A workshop facilitation practice which uses the stimulus of a specific location and its land/waterscape, or culture as the framework for the workshop provision. In doing so the facilitation assists the participants in the understanding of environments and their sense of self within it. The workshops use a variety of art based processes and hands on/craft techniques to enable this. Enquiries very welcome.
